Creative director Shankar and Kollywood star Kamal Haasan have teamed for Indian 2 which is the sequel for Blockbuster Indian that was released in the year 1996. Indian 2 was announced 2 years back and Shankar has almost shot 60% of the footage but because of few incidents which happened last year, the shoot of the film was halted.
From then on there were many speculations that this film has been shelved and recently Shankar has announced his new collaboration with Ram Charan and this lead to many more rumors. Finally, there is news coming from Kollywood film circles that Indian2 hasn’t been shelved and the film will be back on sets as soon as the state elections in Tamil Nadu are completed. In this film, Kamal Hassan will be seen fighting against corruption. This film stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal in important roles. This film is being produced by Lyca Productions and it is one of the highest budget films from the Kollywood industry.
