The daughter of renowned music director Ilaiyaraaja, Bhavatharini, has passed away. During her cancer treatment in Sri Lanka today, she passed away. The 47-year-old Bhavatharini was a winner of the national award. She has composed music for several movies, her latest one being released in 2019.
The Tamil film industry people and audiences are shocked by the sad news. The daughter of renowned music director Ilaiyaraaja, Bhavatharini, has passed away. She has two brothers, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who are both music composers as well.
Bhavatharini made her debut as a singer with the song ‘Masthana Masthana’ in the movie Raasaiya, composed by Ilayaraja in 1995. She won the best play back singer for her song “Mayil pola ponnu onnu” in the movie Bharathi also composed by Ilayaraja.
Two years later, she composed music for actor Revathi’s directorial debut, Mitr, My Friend. She worked in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films.
