Hero Venu, who has been away from the big screen for the better part of the last decade is slowly making a comeback to the big screens. He made a comeback with Ravi Teja’s Ramarao On Duty released last year and now will be seen in the Hotstar web series, Athidhi.
Apart from Venu, the thriller web series also stars Avanthika, Aditi Gautam, Venkatesh Kakumani, Bhadram, Gayatri Chaganti, Ravi Varma, Chanakya Teja, and Pooja. The series is written and directed by Bharat Y G. The trailer was recently released and it looks like a gripping and edge-of-the-seat thriller. The trailer synopsis reads, “A mansion full of secrets, an unexpected guest and the story unfolds… with a twist you’ll never see coming!”
The web series will release at midnight on Disney+ Hotstar on September 19, 2023. Several Tollywood stars have made an entry into the digital world. Earlier this year we saw another yesteryear star JD Chakravarthy enter the OTT world. With Athidhi, Venu’s debut into the world of OTT will be watched with great anticipation.
