Post the success of Waltair Veerayya earlier this year, Gopichand Malineni tried for a project with Tamil star Vijay. The Tollywood director put a lot of efforts on this project and had multiple meetings with Vijay. The project didn’t work out and Vijay finally picked Venkat Prabhu for his next film after Leo.
Now Gopichand Malineni has decided to go back to his most successful combo which is with Ravi Teja. Gopichand Malineni and Ravi Teja have already delivered successful films like Don Seenu, Balupu, and Krack. All these films were hugely successful at the Tollywood box office. The duo during Krack’s promotions back in 2021 had declared that they will surely work together in the future. And now it appears that this combo will get back soon.
Ravi Teja, after the failure of Ravanasura has shifted his entire focus to Tiger Nageswara Rao which is slated for a release later this year. Coming to Gopichand, there are reports that the director is planning for another film with Balakrishna. But that might take some time as Balayya is busy with Anil Ravipudi project which will be followed by a film with Bobby and Boyapati Srinu.
