Now, we almost reached the end of the year so we did some research on google trends to see who is the most searched male actors from Tollywood this year. Google gives a score to a search term/actor on a scale of 100 based on how many people searched that term/actor over the year. Allu Arjun topped the list with an average score of 33 by dethroning Vijay Devarakonda who was the most searched South Indian actor last year. Mahesh Babu was the second most searched Tollywood actor this year with a search score of 20. Here is the detailed month-wise chart of Tollywood top 5 male actors search score this year.
5. Vijay Devarakonda
Vijay Devarakonda who was the Most Searched South Indian actor last year has to settle for fourth place this year among Tollywood stars. He had only one release this year, World Famous Lover which received mixed reviews and bombed at Box office. He also helped thousands of middle-class Families by raising Middle-class Fund during the Pandemic. Also ‘Deverakonda foundation’ was the most searched query related to the actor. 4. Chiranjeevi
Mega Star Chiranjeevi is at 4th place this year in the list of top searched Tollywood actors. Megastar joined social media during the pandemic which is one of the main reasons for his entry into the top 5 list this year. 3. Prabhas
Prabhas had no new releases this year but still managed to enter the top 3 list of top searched Tollywood actors. First look release of Radhe Shyam and announcements related to Adipurush are some of the reasons for him to enter the top 3. 2. Mahesh Babu
Mahesh Babu had one release this year during Sankranti, Sarileru Neekevvaru which turned out to be the highest grosser in his career. He has been on the Top 5 list for the past few years continuously. Also, there were updates released timely about his upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Pre Look and Title of the film was launched on his birthday, August 9th. Many of the top searched queries about Mahesh Babu were related to Sarileru Neekevvaru.
