Tags for Film Stars are common in Tollywood. There are many such titles for all the big stars. Ram Charan used to be called Mega Power Star. This title is reference to both his father Mega Star Chiranjeevi and his Uncle Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Now it seems he and fans left the title. He is now being called Global Star. This could become a burden for Ram Charan as well.
Ram Charan starred in Rajamouli directorial, RRR which became a global phenomenon with the film doing well in International markets and the film even bagged the reputed Oscar Award for Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. Fans and especially Mega Family fans have started calling Ram Charan as Global Star after these incidents.
With this title, Ram Charan may face issues regarding his film glamour. We have seen his immediate release after RRR, Acharya becoming a big disaster. There will be questions regarding his stardom if films become disappointments. The title then would become a big burden to hold for being called as a Global Star. So he and fans must not concentrate much on the title and take care of the films. Currently he is working for the much awaited Shankar directorial, Game Changer.
