Puri Jagannadh faced a terrible setback in form of Liger last year. Puri and the entire unit had placed heavy expectations on this pan-India action sports drama. Unfortunately, Liger failed to live up to the audience’s expectations and brought heavy losses to all the parties involved. After the debacle of Liger, Puri is now determined to strike back and has gone back to his successful combination.
Puri will be teaming up with Ram for his next project. Incidentally, Puri Jagannadh gave Ram a career-defining hit in the form of Ismart Shankar at a time when Ram faced consecutive failures. Now, with the duo teaming up again, expectations have risen. The film is expected to go on sets by September/October this year.
Puri Jagannadh has taken a lot of time to get the project a green signal. He has convinced Ram with this story and the movie is confirmed. Ram is currently busy with Boyapati’s film which will be a pan-India release. Once his film with Boyapati is done, Ram and Puri will get started on this second film in their combo.
