As officially announced, ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Hassan will be joining hands with Mani Rathnam for an action drama film titled Thug Life. The project’s carrying good buzz among audiences since it marks the actor-director’s collaboration after 25 years; the promotional content released so far has been well-received as well.
With music composed by A. R. Rahman, it features an ensemble supporting cast of Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Dulquer Salmaan. But according to some trusted sources, there’s been an issue with the date allocation of Dulquer after the project’s filming has been postponed from the initially planned schedule. Having said that, the Malayalam superstar has reportedly left the project, citing date issues.
This will be a big blow since Dulquer’s inclusion has created immense hype for the project, and his unfortunate exit will leave fans and audiences dissatisfied. However, an official confirmation has yet to arrive.
