Sudheer played three roles in his new film, Mama Mascheendra, which was directed by Harshvardhan and released on October 6th. The film is still in its third day and unfortunately, it is already out of the theaters. Now, due to its poor theatrical performance, Mama Mascheendra is streaming early on OTT Platform.
The surprising thing is that the OTT premiere date has been announced even before the film finished its first-week run. This has been the latest trend in the Telugu film industry, where the unsuccessful films are arriving at the OTT much earlier. Reportedly, Mama Mascheendra will make its Amazon Prime Video debut on October 20th. The film’s disastrous performance in theaters is evident by the fact that it will be coming on OTT within two weeks of its release.
The word of mouth for Mama Mascheendra was poor on the first day, and the film was not received well in most theaters. On the second day of its release, the screens were cut in half because of the low occupancy. Mama Mascheendra became an epic disaster at the box office, and we should wait and watch how it will be the response to the film in its digital release.
