Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2 which released earlier this year on OTT received rave reviews and surpassed expectations. The prequel was also a huge success and was remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The Telugu remake ‘Drushyam’ starring Venkatesh also repeated the success of the original and was well received by the audience. Now we hear that Venkatesh, who is also working on the sequel is wrapping up the shoot at an express pace.
The film has completed half of its shoot and will complete its shooting part by April end. The movie will be ready to release by June. The speed of the shoot has surprised everyone as Venkatesh is also working on other projects right now.
The release of Drushyam 2 will be planned after monitoring the present Covid situation to facilitate the family audience. Drushyam was well received by families and the makers are hoping to repeat the same yet again. Venkatesh will be next seen in ‘Narappa’ which incidentally is also a remake of Dhanush starrer 2019 blockbuster ‘Asuran’.
