We know that the director Puri Jagannath is just coming out of the shock of his latest movie Liger’s crushing defeat. He recently was seen a small role in the Godfather movie, Megastar Chiranjeevi specially requested him to play the role.
Now Megastar had a live chat with the director Puri Jagannath yesterday on Instagram. Many topics were discussed in this chat. The duo also talked about their recent failures including Godfather, Liger, and Acharya. Puri said that he is staying in Bombay and is currently working on a new script.
It was interesting that Chiranjeevi, who received a flop with Acharya, took a motivational class for Puri Jagannath. Chiru said that he would not be down with the failure, he made changes in the Godfather script and focused on doing some reshoots.
On a question about how to deal with a failure, Puri replied to Chiranjeevi. Puri said that he enjoyed working on the Liger movie for three years but its failure will not make him cry for the next three years. Moreover, Puri said that someone looks like a genius when he scores a blockbuster and the same person looks like a fool when he fails.
After learning about Liger’s failure, Puri revealed that he went to the gym and did 100 squats. Puri Jagannath’s response to the failures of his movies has been always like this. He never feels sad and thinks about the failure, he manages to calm his situation and goes after the next movie.
It is known that some years ago Puri Jagannath had approached Chiranjeevi with a script called Auto Johnny. It did not materialize. In this chat, the topic of Chiru Auto Johnny was also brought up, and asked what Puri had done to it.
Puri Jagannath responded to that question by saying that he has put it aside and will work on a better script than that ‘old look’ concept. Chiru said that he is looking forward to working in the Puri direction.
