Dil Raju wins the open challenge by acquiring the Nizam rights of SSMB28

Dil Raju is one of the busiest producers and distributors of Tollywood churning out one big project after another. Whenever a Tollywood biggie release, one can be assured that Dil Raju would be either associated with it as a producer or a distributor. He has a massive presence in Nizam region and recently with Vijay’s Varisu, he entered Kollywood market as well.

He made a foray into Bollywood as well with Hindi version of Jersey as well as HIT: The First Case. Having worked with all top stars of Tollywood such as Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan Jr NTR, Prabhas among others, his filmography has a great mix of big budget entertainers and small budget dubbed movies.

Recently, reports of his soured relationship with Mahesh Babu surfaced and the producer was asked about the same. There were rumours that the Superstar is unhappy with the producer and will not be allowing him anywhere this project. Answering this question, the ace producer said that he has a great rapport with Mahesh and to squash the rumours, he made an open challenge that he will acquire the distribution rights of Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28.

Staying true to his challenge, he has acquired the Nizam rights of SSMB 28 directed by Trivikram. The film’s shoot is currently going on in Hyderabad and the makers are aiming to release it in August this year.
