Waltair Veerayya had a very good 3rd weekend at the box office. For 17 days, the film share will be close to 125 Crores and the gross had crossed 200 Crores mark. This is the 2nd 200 crore+ grosser for Chiranjeevi after Syeraa Narasimha reddy.
Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which is released for this Sankranthi, had a sensational start and continued the momentum over a couple of weeks. In fact, in several areas, Waltair Veerayya registered house fulls even on weekdays apart from weekends.
The film achieved the Breakeven mark within 6 days of its Theatrical run and achieved 100 crores share in a pretty brief span of time. Waltair Veerayya has been setting one record after another, and the film’s run at the box office has been better than many could have imagined.
The film was released alongside Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy for Sankranti. This clash between Balayya and Chiru was won by Chiru who showcased his famous box office pull yet again after back-to-back setbacks, like Acharya and Godfather.
Directed by Bobby, Waltair Veerayya also stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music. Mythri Movie Makers have bankrolled this project.
