Kollywood star Vijay’s Varisu is one of the most anticipated films in Kollywood as well as Tollywood. Varisu was expected to be a solo release in Tamil for Sankranthi 2023. Now, Ajith’s Thunivu has also joined the race and will split theatres, and the business will be affected for sure. Already in Telugu, he is having a lot of competition for the Sankranti season. Initially, he expected Only 2 big films to be released in form of Adipurush and Mega154.
The ace producer and distributor planned a good number of theatres for Varisu in Telugu. But now, 2 more films have joined the Sankranti race. NBK 107 and Akhil’s Agent are most likely to release for the festive season. Out of these 4 films, 3 films are definitely expected to release for the festive season and Vijay’s Varisu may not get screens if 3 Big movies are released.
Dil Raju is disappointed as he is now facing massive competition in both industries and since big names like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Ajith, and Balakrishna are involved, there’s not much he can do.
