Devi Sri Prasad has been the Telugu film industry’s most dependable music director for over 2 decades now. He has composed the music for chartbusters like Arya, Arya 2, Manmadhudu, Julayi, Jalsa, and most recently Rangasthalam.
But in recent years he has impressed relatively less compared to the previous years, and the majority of Telugu audiences have openly expressed their disapproval for his newer music. Even his recent music in Pushpa failed to impress Telugu audiences.
But, the more interesting fact is that Devi Sri Prasad is receiving a lot of love from the Bollywood industry. Even with Pushpa-The Rise, the Hindi songs have gone on to break records. Bollywood filmmakers are offering him offers left, right and center.
He already has two famous songs in Bollywood, Dinka Chika, and Seeti Maar, but this time he will be composing the music for the entire film.
DSP is already confirmed to compose the music for the Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus. Apart from this, Devi Sri Prasad is also getting a lot more offers from Bollywood. The filmmakers want to add some South Indian flavor to their movies to connect to more audiences.
DSP will surely make a name for himself in Bollywood as well.
