It is a superb price. The makers expected 30Cr business Overseas and getting the deal close to that number is excellent for sure. The Overseas breakeven of Devara will be in the range of 6.5M.
The film is in the final stages of shooting and a 40 day shoot is still left. Reportedly, the shoot of Devara is expected to be completed by March end or April Mid. The team is planning aggressive pan India promotions after the shoot. It is widely known that the film was announced to be released on April 5th but because of many reasons it was postponed, and the unit is eyeing for July/ August / September release.
“There will be a new world, strong characters and a lot of hugeness in the film. That’s why I find it difficult to show the story of Devara in a single part in its entirety”, said Koratala Siva during the announcement of making Devara in two parts. Reportedly, the film is being made with Rs 300 Crores.
Janhvi Kapoor plays NTR’s love interest, while Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist in the film. NTR will be seen in a dual role as both father and son. Anirudh is the music composer, and fans eagerly anticipate the film’s songs and background score. NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts are jointly producing the film.
