The makers of Balakrishna’s Dada have answered the postponement rumours once again. On Diwali, they announced the film’s first single and stuck firmly to the December 24 release date.
Dada Dhamaka on November 13
The first single, titled “Dada Dhamaka”, will be released on November 13. It is composed by Thaman S.
The new poster shows Balakrishna in a stylish studded leather jacket and sunglasses, holding a gun in the air, as he strikes a dance pose with a co-star in a grand, colourful party setting. The song looks set to be a full-on mass dance number.

December 24 Confirmed Again
The poster clearly carries the “December 24 in theatres” tag, the second time in a few days that the makers have reaffirmed the Christmas release.
Earlier this week, the official handle posted: “As Promised, This time it’s CHRIST-MASS.”
Rumours Haven’t Stopped
Despite the team’s repeated confirmation, the buzz about a possible postponement continues in industry circles.
The main concern is the timeline. The shoot is expected to run into December, and with heavy post-production work still to be done, releasing the film for Christmas will be a big task for the team. Balakrishna had resumed shooting only in October after recovering from knee surgery.
The Thaman Factor
Thaman and Balakrishna have delivered several big musical hits together, and fans will be hoping “Dada Dhamaka” gives the film a strong push. A chartbuster first single could go a long way in building momentum for the Christmas release.
About Dada
Dada is directed by Gopichand Malineni, who earlier gave Balakrishna the blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy. It is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra.
The film faces a big Christmas clash with Nagarjuna’s landmark 100th film, King 100, which also releases on December 24.
