Usually post Sankrathi season is considered as dry and drab season in Tollywood. Where no biggie will be released post Sankrathi till March end, even if released will be struggling to perform at Box Office with positive talk.
This year started with 2 back to back BlockBusters which released in Sankrathi season. But later films which released after Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala VaikunthaPurramuloo shockingly become disasters respectively starting with Entha Manchivadavura to World Famous Lover* all the films ended up with single digit shares which include Disco Raja, Aswathama and Jaanu. Next mid range film which is releasing on 21st February is Nithin’s Bheeshma, Can this film break this jinx and fare well at Box-office ?
Bheeshma should collect around 23Crs to attain Hit status which is hard task ahead considering Nithin’s previous films Srinivasa Kalyanam & Chal Mohan Ranga which collected less than 13Crs.
