Director Buchi Babu, who got good fame with his debut film “Uppena”, didn’t get the second movie opportunity till date. He had waited almost 2 years for the approval from NTR, but things did not work well between them and the movie was called off.
In an interesting twist, Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s movie with Young Director Gowtham Tinnanuri has been called off. Now the latest industry news is that director Buchi Babu has narrated the script to Ram Charan and the hero liked it. If this news turns out to be true, then this will be the 16th movie of Ram Charan.
When Ram Charan and JR NTR were selected for SS Rajamouli’s Action Epic RRR, fans of both the heroes were very happy and kept many hopes that the careers of both the heroes would change after the movie.
RRR released in theatres in March this year and became a Pan India blockbuster. Not only the box office success, but the film also received great applause for the performances of Ram Charan and JR NTR and the excellently choreographed action sequences.
Also, RRR received much greater appreciation after its OTT release on Netflix and got full praise from the international audience. Hollywood viewers and celebrities too were in awe of the movie. Despite the huge success of RRR, both the heroes’careers have not taken the big jump as their fans expected.
It’s been 7 months since RRR’s release, and still the next movie of NTR has not been started and is frustrating his fans. Every now and then, some news comes up of NTR30 but shooting has not started till now. On the other hand, Ram Charan has joined South India’s one of the biggest directors Shankar, for his next movie (RC15) after RRR. The film which was supposed to release in mid this year, is reportedly postponed to next year Sankranthi.
Whereas his 16th movie was supposed to be helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri has been shelved and there are so many rumors that have come up regarding the director he’s gonna work with. Let’s hope that at least the news about Buchi Babu comes true.
