Normally, Pawan Kalyan’s re-releases will create wonders and put upa huge numbers at the box office, but his recently released Gudumba Shankar did not open well on its re-release day, August 31st. A few people thought the film might will open bigger on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, but the bookings for tomorrow are also do not seem good.

The advance bookings for tomorrow are weak and nowhere near to the numbers of Jalsa, Kushi. It looks like the mega fans are not in a mood to celebrate the re-releases as they have faced back to back disastrous results with Bro and Bhola Shankar. Even the regular audiences are also do not showing any interest in watching Gudumba Shankar.

Initially, Pawan Kalyan fans had announced the re-release date of Gudumba Shankar as 31st August. With Varun Tej’s new film Gandeevadhari Arjuna releasing last Friday, the release of Gudumba Shankar was rescheduled to 2nd September coinciding with Powerstar’s birthday. However, Varun Tej’s film saw a terrible result, so the re-release of Gudumba Shankar got advanced to August 31st again.

Directed by Veera Shankar and produced by Naga Babu under the banner of Anjana Productions, the film, Gudumba Shankar originally released the film in 2004. Mani Sharma composed the music for the film.
