Ever since the show started, Big boss became one show which telugu people have looked up to. This reality show is enjoyed by youth and families alike. After successful five seasons, this reality show started it’s 6th season of late.
However this season has been seeing poor response from its viewers. The show’s trp ratings that reflect audience viewership also suggest the same. It could get only 6.82 trp in urban households and 5.59 tro in urban and rural households combined.
These are supposed to be discouraging ratings for a show that entertained millions. The reasons could be the contestants aren’t exciting and not popular enough to grab attention. The games are getting repetitive and the host not being aggressive even when required.
This Saturday episode received a flak from biggboss viewers regarding Nagarjuna’s lenient approach. Many felt that he should’ve criticised Geethu for her deceptions and irresponsible behaviours in doing tasks.
Big Boss is not an ordinary show, its a reality game show which makes the viewers very emotional impact gets them triggered by the actions of housemates or even host. If the proceedings don’t match the viewers expectations, then they will react in an aggresive way.
Hope the show runners understand the flaws and make the game more exciting and fresh. Some wildcard entry who can attract everyone’s attention or guest who can level up the spirits might help.
