Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu 2 as hit the worldwide theaters today. It is known that this movie is the sequel to Bichagadu which was a Blockbuster hit (2016). As Bichagadu became a massive blockbuster, there was a decent buzz around Bichagadu 2. Though the movie is a sequel, it is not a continuation of the first part, and it is a standalone film. The film is opened to negative response from the reviewers and audiences as well. Vijay Antony faced a Major boat accident during the shooting of the film and heroine Kavya Thapar explained about it during the promotional interview of the movie.
The actor and actress apparently suffered with serious facial injuries. In a recent interview with the media, actress Kavya Thapar stated that it took nearly three months for her wound on the face to soothe, but it still has marks, she added that she will be proud to walk with it all her life. The actress reportedly said that the experience she had while working with Vijay Antony turned out to be a life-changing experience for her, as she learned how to approach every performance differently.
The actress, talking about the accident, reportedly stated that shooting in the middle of the ocean was too risky and had its dangers. The actress then explained how the jet ski they were using reportedly met with an accident as it landed into a boat. She said that it was a traumatic experience. The actress also revealed that once she fell off in the water, she was able to swim to safety, but Vijay Antony suffered major injuries and, as he did not know how to swim, started to sink.
The actress also stated that she immediately swam towards him, and thanks to the crew, they were capable of getting immediate health assistance. The unit though he had died, but he survived. She also added that Vijay Antony underwent multiple surgeries after the accident.
