The film will be totally based on the concept of extreme past and extreme future. The extreme past in the film will be centered around Dwaapara Yuga and the extreme future means the end of Kali Yuga. According to the mythology, at the end of KaliYuga the bad will rise over the good and no one believes in the God and at that time, Lord Vishnu will come to the earth as Kalki Avatar.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Amitabh Bachchan in major roles. The movie became the first Indian film to appear at San Diego Comic-Con and captivated the audience with its spellbinding visuals and unique concept in network first glimpse, making it the first Indian film to exhibit there.
