Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has been a solid success story for the Icon Star. The movie has now crossed Rs 150 crore mark (all versions). Pushpa has become the second consecutive film for him after Ala Vaikunthapurramlo to have achieved this.
The Icon Star also stood as the backbone of Pushpa. Now, as we can all see, the result is massive. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the revenue that it has generated in other languages is massive.
Pushpa’s OTT rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video which, as per agreement can stream the film three weeks post-theatrical release. However, the Pushpa team has now requested Amazon to postpone the OTT release for now.
Pushpa is performing well in Hindi and other languages. With RRR postponed and Radhe Shyam also looking uncertain, Sankranti can turn quite profitable for this Allu Arjun starrer action entertainer.
Keeping this in mind Allu Arjun’s Pushpa team has requested Amazon Prime Video to push the OTT release by further 2 weeks.
