It is very well known to everyone that Akhil Akkineni’s Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, has turned out to be a massive failure. The film, having Malayalam Megastar Mammootty in an important vital role, failed to entertain the audience and Akkineni fans as well. It became a miserable failure at the box office. Even the producer of the film, Anil Sunkara, apologized to the fans for the result of the film.
Before the release of Agent, Akhil Akkineni’s next film was expected to start very quickly but now it is being said that he is set to take a long break for sometime and then plan the next project. Even after getting continuous failures still there is a good demand for Akhil in directors and producers but as of now he does not want to meet the people for some time and does not want to give commitment for any movie.
The decision of Akhil is being appreciated by some of his fans while some are saying that it is not a good decision to take and giving break for movies at this moment may prove costly for him. But sometimes it is good to take a break for few days when you are in a bit of confusion and find the right rhythm to get back on to the work.

The movie tells us the story of Ricky (Akhil), who is very passionate and a wild spirit who wants to be a raw agent from childhood due to an incident. Mahadev (Mammootty) scouts and takes Ricky under his wing and handpick him to get the best of a rogue ex-agent Devil (Dino Morea). A straightforward mission goes haywire and Ricky is now the target. How Ricky solves this problem and how he serves his nation is what the story is all about.
