Adipurush has been one such project which has always carried a lot of hype and expectation not only from Prabhas’ fans but audiences across India. Everyone expected that Adipurush will create a huge impact and that the hype will be unparallel.
Adipurush was announced to release on Sankranthi so people assumed that there will be no competition for the movie this Sankranthi. There were a lot of reasons for this. Firstly, Adipurush is one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema, the Ramayana backdrop, and the Pan-Indian advantage.
But with the teaser and the poster, the makers completely diluted all the hype and buzz around the movie. The teaser was a massive letdown for fans and the general audience. The teaser was brutally trolled on social media and the fan edits got more applause than the actual teaser.
After the teaser, now no one is afraid of Adipurush and everyone is looking to claim the Sankranthi spot. NBK’s Veera Simha Reddy, Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veeraya, and Akhil’s Agent are looking to release their films this Sankranthi.
Now the Adipurush team itself is in a dilemma about whether they can release the film for Sankranthi or not. If they had released a good teaser, Adipurush would have definitely been declared the Sankranthi winner but now there is no guarantee.
