Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 has picked up its pace with Shankar keen on finishing the film at the earliest. The film is most probably slated for a Sankranti release early next year. Shankar revealed that the talkie portions of the film will be completed by June. A song will be shot followed by it, and the VFX and post-production will begin post-June.
After a short break, Shankar is back to Indian 2 sets and the team is traveling to Taiwan for a mini schedule till April 8th. After this, the team will fly to South Africa for a big train fight sequence.
Other than Kamal Haasan, the film also has Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed the brilliant album for Vikram is composing music for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 as well.
The shoot of Indian 2 was stopped because of budget reasons as the producer felt such a massive budget won’t work for Kamal Hassan but after the humongous success of Vikram lot was changed, Udhayanidhi Stalin got involved in this project, and he set everything on track for the film.
