Venkatesh and Rana’s Rana Naidu web series was released on Netflix recently to poor reviews. A remake of the English web series Ray Donovan, this action crime drama featured Venkatesh and Rana as father and son who are at loggerheads.
Rana Naidu web series has been released and received poor reviews and it even affected Venkatesh’s brand image. Now the question is will Venkatesh and Rana’s Rana Naidu will go for a second season or not.
The first season had 10 episodes which is two lesser than Ray Donovan’s first season. The original show had a total of 7 seasons and received terrific reviews and reception from the audience. But with poor reviews for the Hindi versions, the audience and even the makers are not showing much inclination for future seasons.
Venkatesh plays Rana Daggubati’s father Naga in the series, which has been created by Karan Anshuman. He is known for creating Amazon Prime Video shows Inside Edge and Mirzapur. Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais also star in Rana Naidu.
