Prabhas’ much anticipated Adipurush teaser was dropped yesterday and received a beating online for its sloppy CGI and VFX. When director Om Raut said that it will take time to perfect the VFX work, fans expected a Hollywood-level teaser cut but what we got instead was a cartoonish teaser.
While the team of Adipurush had to deal with the brutal trolling online, there is more bad news for the makers. The Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra has warned Om Raut that he will take legal action against him.
According to him, there are many objectionable scenes in the teaser alone. He mentioned that the scenes of Lord Hanuman wearing leather hurt the religious sentiments of the people. He warned Om Raut to take such scenes down otherwise, there will be legal action.
Apart from this, netizens online have launched a Boycott Adipurush campaign due to the portrayal of various characters in the film. Many complained that Saif Ali Khan’s portrayal of Ravan was a disgrace to the great Ravan, who was the king of Lanka. Amidst all of this, Adipurush has managed to garner over 101M+ views in just 24 hours.
