Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s Alpha, the first-ever female spy film from YRF’s Spy Universe, was all set for a grand worldwide release this Christmas, which is now said to be postponed to April 17, 2026.
The makers officially announced, and even though they say that the post-production works and VFX works are the reason for the delay, one will doubt that the results of Tiger 3 and War 2 impacted this.
Especially the disastrous result of Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2, which was released this year, has subsequently pushed the release date of Alpha. This might be the reason for the team to take a break to get out of the negativity around the universe.
It’s almost a do-or-die chance for the YRF Spy Universe now, and if Alpha also fails, then it is probably the end of the universe.
