Megastar Chiranjeevi and Natasimham Balakrishna both competed during this year’s Sankranthi. Recently, both the films completed 200 days of running in a theater and created another rare record. While Veera Simha Reddy reached the landmark yesterday, Waltair Veerayya celebrates the 200th day today.
Veera Simha Reddy was released as a Sankranthi gift on January 12, 2023, while Waltair Veerayya was out on the next day. In these days, films completing 50 days,100 days 150 days, and 175 days are very rare. In that situation, both these films celebrating 200 days is a very outstanding achievement.
Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya alongside Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy for Sankranti. This clash between Balayya and Chiru was won by Chiru who showcased his famous box office pull yet again after back-to-back setbacks, like Acharya and Godfather. While Waltair Veerayya became a blockbuster at the box office, Veera Simha Reddy was a good hit and impressed the fans.
Directed by Bobby, Waltair Veerayya further stars Ravi Teja in an important role, audience liked his energetic and mass performance further his combo scenes with Chiranjeevi entertained everyone. Shruti Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, and Prakash Raj appeared in pivotal roles in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music of Waltair Veerayya and two of his songs became blockbusters and the background score too was a good plus to the film.
