It is very well known to everyone that Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram with Chiyaan Vikram has been delayed for a few years. The movie’s first promo was revealed more than six years ago. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Simran, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma and Parthiban among others. It was reported that the film will hit the screens in the month of July, but the inside reports suggest that the film got postponed again.
The film was postponed several times for a longtime because of financial hurdles. But somehow the team has tried to sort the issues and release the film in July. But again it seems like things are not happening as the team planned. The unit of Dhruva Natchathiram tried to close the financial hurdles with non-theatrical rights, but the offers are not coming price according to the reports.
It looks like the movie will be postponed for a few more months, which will be disappointing news for the fans of Gautham Vasudev Menon and Chiyaan Vikram. We can just hope that issues of Dhruva Natchathiram will get sorted out and the film will be released at the earliest.
Chiyaan Vikram had joined hands with director Gautham Menon for the spy thriller ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ and the film that began its filming in June 2016 was put on hold in 2018 due to financial reasons. However, the film’s shooting started again a few months ago when Chiyaan Vikram wanted to find a release date for his filmmaker Gautham Menon.
Dhruva Natchathiram has a stellar star cast that includes Simran, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, R Parthiban, Vinayakan, Divyadarshini, Raadhika Sarath Kumar, and Arjun Das among others. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music for this film, and a few months ago he confirmed through his social media account that he was working on Dhruva Natchathiram’s background score.
