Vijay to exit cinema in March

Kollywood Actor Vijay has officially stepped into politics with his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in Tamil Nadu. The Actor has also declared that his party will be contesting in Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections scheduled for 2026. He also made it clear that Thalapathy69 will be his last film. Now, it is learnt that Vijay is considering to exit Cinema in March.

Thalapathy69’s shoot is said to be planned to wrap up by this March, and Vijay will then concentrate completely and only on Politics from April. The film is also being planned for release in the second half of the year. It was also recently confirmed that the film is an official remake of the Telugu film Bhagavanth Kesari starring Balakrishna.

So, it needs to be seen how the remake works out in the Tamil version. Pooja Hegde and Mamita Baiju are set to reprise the roles of Kaal and Sree Leela from the original version. Directed by H. Vinoth the film is produced by KVN Productions.
