Muthu Alias Kaattaan is a latest Tamil investigative dark humor series streaming on JioHotstar from March 27, starring Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by M. Manikandan, the series received unanimous negative reviews.

With its slow-burning narration, this 10-episode investigative drama/dark comedy is said to have no proper story or screenplay to impress the viewers. OTT audiences are unanimously saying that Muthu Alias Kaattaan, starring Vijay Sethupathi, is a very bad one.

The series’ cast also includes Milind Soman as Shivettan, Sudev Nair as Johny, and Risha Jacobs as Meena.

Director Manikandan is famous for Kaaka Muttai (2015), which won the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film. He is also recognized for films like Kuttrame Thandanai, Aandavan Kattalai, and Kadaisi Vivasayi.
