Vijay Sethupathi made his Telugu debut with a PAN India movie, Sye Raa. He was seen in the role of Raaja Pandi and performed remarkably well. He also acted in another Telugu film, Uppena as a villain. Uppena’s release is awaited whose initial release was scheduled on April 2nd. It was produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar’s assistant Buchi Babu. Sukumar himself penned the story for this movie and wanted to make sure that it does not disappoint the audience.
Now the latest update says, Vijay Sethupati has signed for another straight Telugu movie. But this time he will be seen in a lead role. As of now, this project is in the scripting stage and it will go on set in the next year. The production house of Uppena, Mythri Movie Makers are financing this project too.
