Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger Hindi Version Gets Censor Cuts

Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is ever close to releasing in theatres. It has been hyped up and the expectations from the team Liger are sky-high. Although there is a great buzz around the movie, the trailer and songs have been average at best. But it is too soon to judge a book by its cover and we will have to wait till it releases to see how the audiences receive the film.

There are a total of 7 fights and six songs in the entire film. The talk from the censor board was also very positive and they had great things to say about the film.

Owing to some scenes in the film, the censor board has however decided to cut some portions from the Hindi version of Liger. The board decided to delete the dialogue “Wo teri chaatata hai ya tu uski chaatega” replacing it with “legend tera chamcha hai ya tu uska chamcha hai.” They deemed this dialogue very vulgar and decided to have it removed.

The board also decided to blur the middle finger gesture at various portions of the film. They removed it at 4 intervals to be precise. The board muted the word ‘CYCLE THOKO’ as well. They also reduced the frequency of the word ‘FU**’ BY 50 %. The word was used in different styles at least 8+ times. The members of the board also deemed it apt to mute the word ‘KUTIYA’ and ‘KE LAV**’.

After all of the censor cuts, the runtime is 2 hours and 20 minutes for Liger Saala Crossbreed.
