On September 1st, Kushi, the latest romantic family entertainer starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, was released with a great deal of hype. The movie received a positive review from the audience, and the critics also gave it positive reviews. Although the film performed well at the box office until the first weekend, it could not continue with the same run. Now the latest news is Kushi’s OTT streaming date is locked.
The film’s Digital rights have been bought by the OTT giant Netflix, and it will be available for streaming from 6th October.
As said above, the film, Kushi received bad and poor collections after the first weekend. Kushi, the film has almost ended it’s run at the box office at a below-average status and a high loss venture in Andhra Pradesh. Recovery wise, Kushi has definitely done a bit better compared to Vijay Devarakonda’s previous films, but still, his search continues for a perfect successful film.
Kushi also stars Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. It is a pan-India release with it hitting the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Fans were eager to catch Vijay in a romantic role after a long time and with Samantha’s presence, there was greater curiosity as to how this pair will look on screen, but Shiva Nirvana’s narration and the film’s dip in tempo in the second half made the audience feel disconnected.
