Drushyam was one of the biggest hits in Victory Venkatesh’s career and a sequel for the film is coming now. Titled Drushyam 2, the film is directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced jointly by D Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor and Rajkumar Sethupathi.
The film has completed all the formalities including censor and it received clean U certificate. That means, the film is for all age groups. Since Drushyam was a superhit, expectations are quite high on the sequel. The makers will announce its release date soon.Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil reprised their roles from first part, while Sampath Raj and Poorna are the new addition for the ensemble cast. Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer and Anup Rubens is the music director for the film being made under Suresh Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas and RajKumar Theatres banners.
Billed to be a drama thriller comprising of family emotions, Venkatesh’s performance is going to be one of the major highlights. The team will opt for aggressive promotions, as they are planning to release the movie soon.
