Varun Tej’s Ghani has been postponed yet again and will not release on 25th February. The makers of the film Renaissance Pictures shared this update on social media and thanked the fans for their encouragement so far. With Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak releasing on the same date, this move was quite expected.
“Ghani will meet you on big screens at a later date! A new release date will be announced very soon,” shared the production house.
Earlier, Sharwanand’s ‘Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu’ which was also set to release on 25th February was postponed for the same reason. This film will now release on 4th March.
Coming to Ghani, this is not the first time the sports drama has been postponed. The film moved two release dates in December and later was even considered for a January release before fixing to 25th Feb. Now it needs to be seen which release date the makers pick. After Bheemla Nayak, there will be a Tollywood biggie releasing every 2 weeks interval.
Varun Tej’s Ghani stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead, Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood star Sunil Shetty in important roles. Naveen Chandra, Jagapathi Babu, Nadiya will also be seen in the film. Debutant Kiran Korrapati is directing the sports drama while Thaman is composing the music.
