Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming film starring Thalapathy Vijay is now officially confirmed. Speculations over this combo have been going on for quite some time now. Titled Thalapathy 66, the ‘Maharshi’ director made the major announcement while addressing media recently.
“The biggest project of my career will commence soon after the Covid curve flattens. Dil Raju will bankroll the project and Thalapathy Vijay will feature in it. We haven’t announced it yet due to the Covid situation,” Vamshi said.
Thalapathy 66 will be a bilingual that will be simultaneously made on Tamil and Telugu. This will be a pan- India project and the first time Vijay will be filming a direct Telugu film.
Vijay has already given his nod to the project, and the scripting in its final stage. Dil Raju will be producing the project under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie will go on floors once the pandemic eases. Vijay will be next seen in Thalapathy 65 directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. He will be paired opposite Pooja Hegde for the first time in this film.
