Kollywood star Ajith’s much-awaited action thriller Valimai is all set to release on 24th February. The action-thriller will feature Ajith in a cop role after a long time. Valimai is one of the most eagerly awaited Tamil biggies and fans’ anticipation is at an all-time high.
Madurai-based Gopuram films have bought entire TN rights for a whopping Rs 72 crores. This is the highest pre-release business for a movie post-Corona lockdown. Similarly, the buzz for this action thriller in the Hindi trade circles is also great.
The film is releasing pan India wide in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Producer Boney Kapoor arranged a special screening for the Bollywood trade circles and the response has been amazing. The select few who have already watched the film are already terming it a blockbuster with special praise for the action scenes featuring Ajith.
Directed by H Vinoth, Ajith’s Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi and Karthikeya Gummakonda. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music. Boney Kapoor has produced this action entertainer. This is the second collaboration between Boney and Ajith after the 2019 courtroom drama ‘Nerkonda Parvai’.
