He is currently busy wrapping his upcoming film with Director Krish in which Rakul Preet Singh is pairing with him. This film was originally planned as an OTT release but now it’s getting crazy offers for theatrical business thanks to the stellar performance of Uppena. Sources say that this film is based on a novel and the team are looking to title this project Jungle Book. Krish is also taking special care on this project and maybe released in August or September. Not only this project but industry buzz is that Vaisshnav Tej has also signed two more films. One of them was under King Nagarjuna’s production which will be canned under Manam Entertainments.
