The fans of Tamil Star Hero Thalapathy Vijay were in for a severe disappointment because of the audio launch event cancellation of the upcoming film, Leo. There are many reasons and rumors about why the event was called off, but the latest hot buzz in Tamil circles is that actor and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin was behind it.
It is widely known that Udhay has a big distribution company in Kollywood called Red Giant movies as he will produce and distribute the movies as well. They bought most of the films in Tamil Nadu, and they are said to have tried for Leo rights as well, but the negotiations do not work, and Leo makers had sold the film to other distributors.
Now the buzz is that due to this reason, Udhayanidhi Stalin has cancelled the permission for the film’s audio launch. While the producers of Leo, said officially that the audio launch event was cancelled due to safety concerns and the overwhelming demand for passes. But in the industry, the news is strongly being rumored that Stalin was behind the cancellation of the Leo audio event despite the producer saying there were no political reasons for the cancellation.
Leo is an action thriller written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt and Trisha in the main roles. This film has surrounded by a massive craze in both Telugu and Tamil languages and will be released in theaters on October 19, coinciding with the Ayudha Pooja weekend. Gautam Vasudev Menon, Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand are part of the supporting cast. The film, produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy, has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
