Kollywood star Suriya, who has been impressing the audience with his unique characters and script selection, has made a good name not only a star hero but a versatile performer. Today the star is celebrating his 48th birthday, but a sad and shocking incident occurred on his birthday celebrations as two of his fans died due to electric shock in Andhra Pradesh.
On the occasion of Suriya’s birthday on Sunday, the makers released a glimpse of his upcoming film. The way Suriya appeared in a ferocious avatar in Kanguva is attracting one and all. The fans of Suriya are celebrating as the glimpse was more than their expectations. However, during this celebration, an unexpected tragedy occurred. On the occasion of Suriya’s birthday, two of the fans who were erecting his flexes died due to electric shock.
Nakka Venkatesh, and Polur Sai the degree students from Narasaraopet in Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh, were electrocuted while they were erecting flexes of Suriya and died on the spot. Venkatesh of Mopuri Palam and Sai of Bapatla J Pangaluru were working on their favorite hero’s flexes at Narasaraopet last night on the occasion of his birthday when the electric wires next to the iron frame came in contact with the electricity and both died on the spot, as per the police. This has created a lot of gloom among Surya’s fans. It is very unfortunate that such a sad incident occurred during the celebrations.
Suriya recently faced a series of flops and returned to the success track with the films Akashamey Nee Haddura (Soorarai Potru) and Jai Bhim which were praised by the critics. Coincidentally both the films are direct OTT releases. He is currently acting in a multilingual film ‘Kanguva’. ‘Siruthai’ is directed by Shiva.
The film is being produced on a massive scale under the banners’ studio green and UV Creations. The makers are planning to release the film in 10 languages. Touted to be a period fictional story, Suriya will be seen in a new role with a different makeover. From the first look and glimpse of the film, Massive expectations have been created across the country. Suriya’s fans as well as cine lovers are eagerly waiting for this film as it is his first period film.
