Tollywood senior editor Goutham Raju has demised on Wednesday. He has been suffering from health issues for some days now. He was under treatment in a prominent hospital and yesterday he got discharged. However, the health issue surged again and he lost his life during the midnight.
Goutham Raju has been in the industry for more than 40 years and was the editor for 500+ films. He made his debut with Chiranjeevi’s movie Chattaniki Kallu Levu in 1981. He has been an editor for some quite popular movies like Nari Nari Naduma Murari, Padamati Sandhya Ragam, Karthavyam, Assembly Rowdy, Peda Rayudu and many more. Goutham also won Nandi award for Jr. NTR’s Aadi movie.
Some of his recent works are Gabbar Singh, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu, Touch chesi chudu, etc. Vamsi, Shekhar, PROs of Tollywood has took it to twitter to announce the demise of Goutham Raju. Tributes are pouring in from multiple film personalities on Twitter.
Music director M.M. Keeravani tweeted that he is saddened by the demise of Goutham and reminisced the time when he worked with Goutham for the movie Dhammu.
