Anupama Parameswaran has got an interesting lineup of films in 2022. Earlier this year, she starred in Rowdy Boys opposite debutant Ashish. She was also seen in a cameo in Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki. Next up, she has Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages with Nikhil. She also has a thriller film ‘Butterfly’ coming up this year.
The first look of the movie was released early this year and this colourful poster created quite a strong buzz among the netizens. Anupama Parameswaran was seen in quite a colourful poster with wings featured around her. The makers are now planning to go for a direct OTT release for this project.
The makers of Butterfly are in talks with Disney + Hotstar for a direct release on OTT by skipping the theatres. It is a great decision as the audience in recent past has not shown much interest to watch very small budget films in theatres. Even movies like Ante Sundaraniki and Pakka Commercial failed to draw the audience to the theatres and turned out to be major disappointments.
Satish Babu Ghanta is directing this project while Ravi Prakash Bodapati, Prasad Tiruvalluri and Pradeep Nallimelli are bankrolling the film under the banner of Gen Next Movies.
