Tollywood Producers are having a tough time in making a successful film in Bollywood. Recently Nani’s Jersey was remade in Hindi which was produced by Geetha Arts, Dil Raju and Sithara Entertainments and the film had become a massive disaster. Now the same result seems to have struck with the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake.

Shehzada is the official remake of AVP the film is produced by Allu Aravind along with Bhushan Kumar. The movie opened to disastrous advance bookings and going by the trend the film is not showing any hopes of picking up on day 1 or later as the Bollywood audience appear uninterested in the film.

Not only this time, before also our Telugu producers have lost crores of money with Hindi remakes of Telugu films and came back again to Tollywood. Aswini Dutt too lost crores of money before in Bollywood.

Remakes have been always a question in the industries whether they will be liked by the audience and a good amount of justice to the originals. Lately, only a few movies remade have received a favorable amount of appreciation at the box office. The Hindi remakes of Telugu film generally tend to do well in the Hindi market.

But after the pandemic everything has changed and if a film dubbed version is already available, then it will be very difficult for the film to succeed. Only Drishyam 2 was a successful remake from South, but the important thing to be noticed is the original film was not available in the Hindi language.

The Hindi remake of Vishwak Sen’s HIT also turned out to be a disaster, for which Dil Raju was the producer. The film was titled HIT -The First Case, and it had Rajkumar Rao in the lead role. The film couldn’t get off to a good start, and it went completely unnoticed at the box office with terrible numbers.
