The film industry has been one of the worst impacted ones due to the pandemic. Movie shoots across the globe have been canceled due to the second wave and Tollywood is no different. In some cases, films that were ready to release had to either postpone the release or go for OTT release. The movies which were still in production had no option but to wait out.
Now with the situation easing up a bit, Tollywood is slowly getting back on its feet. The shootings of some films have resumed while the others are gearing up to resume soon with all precautions.
Radhe Shyam, Pushpa, Thank You, Khiladi, Shakunthalam and few more movies are all set to resume shooting in next two weeks. Similarly, RRR, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Acharya and other movies are planning to go on sets from July 1st or 2nd week.
This is a great sign for the industry and cine workers who’ve ben impacted financially due to the pandemic.
