After a poor box-office show, Ravi Teja’s recent action entertainer Tiger Nageswara Rao is getting ready for its OTT premiere. The film will be available to stream from 24th November in all the languages on Amazon Prime Video. While the film was great in terms of its intentions and concept, poor execution and lengthy runtime ended up as major drawbacks.
During the promotions, Ravi Teja himself said that Tiger Nageswara Rao’s role was his career-best characterization after Vikram Singh Rathod. The Mass Maharaja was completely satisfied with the characterization and it was really surprising to see the kind of cold show the movie put up at the box-office.
Apart from the movie’s screenplay in parts and runtime, the competition with Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari and Vijay’s Leo also played to the movie’s disadvantage. Now it needs to be seen how the audience respond to the OTT premiere of the movie later this month.
Directed by the duo Vamsi Krishna Naidu and Vamsi Krishna Akella, Tiger Nageswara Rao is based on true rumors and stars Ravi Teja, Anupam Kher, Renu Desai, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, and leading ladies Gayatri Bhardwaj and Nupur Sanon. The team was involved in aggressive promotions across India, especially in north India, where they participated more.
