Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao has gathered a good amount of craze because of its unique setting and fascinating promos. Let’s take a look on whether this different attempt that has only a few good parts has succeeded in achieving its goal.
Story: The story of Tiger Nageswara Rao takes inspiration from the real-life character of a famous thief from the 1980s and the crisis in Stuartpuram. The film also shows TNR’s personal life along with his robberies, daring adventures, and humane side.
Performances: Ravi Teja’s performance as Tiger Nageswara Rao is convincing. His looks had a bit of alteration and the character he played differs from his usual hyper-energetic roles. Ravi Teja displays a sincere performance throughout, which is clearly visible on-screen. Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj got their usual roles as female leads and they were fine. Renu Desai appears on screen after a long time and she is good in a dignified role. Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma, Nassar, and Jisshu Sengupta were apt.
Positives:
- Main Plot
- Ravi Teja’s Performance
- Action Sequences
Negatives:
- Boring and Predictable Second Half
- Songs
- Lack Of Thrills
Tiger Nageswara Rao Review and Verdict:
The film starts off with an intriguing start and has a few great moments as well. But the purpose was not served by the lengthy runtime and generic second half with predictable taking. Overall, the film is a different attempt with only a few good parts. It can be watched due to its unique plot and Ravi Teja’s performance, but avoid having high expectations.
